A Gibson Les Paul Special is a guitar which has first introduced in 1955. They can be worth around å£1500 to å£3000 depending on condition and whether it includes the case.
it wont be worth that much. Maybe like about $200-$350.
send me pictures of it and i will tell you. johnphillips9@verizon.net
Well that depends on who is buying it. A 1996 Gibson Les Paul Standard can be worth up to $2500 by itself assuming it's in perfect condition. The signature would add value if you're selling it to a Foreigner fan. If the buyer isn't a fan of Foreigner, the signature would be nothing more than a blemish to them. I would start by offering the guitar for $3500 and see how many bidders you get. If it's a hot item, raise the price. Hope this helped! JW "The guitar guy"

New or second hand? It also depends where you are in the world. Different dealers may offer different prices. Having had a look at some prices (UK) an 08 Gibson Les Paul Standard costs ABOUT £1.8 thousand, £1,800. Just go on to Google shopping or something and have a look.

God invented THE Les Paul to entertain us and make guitar players around the world want to go home and practice!Les Paul innovated the electric guitar by making it a solid body, that would not feed back as much as hollow body electrics (at a given volume) and had a unique sound. Gibson and Les Paul together invented the Gibson Les Paul signature guitar.
Well, why not go all out and buy a Gibson Melody Maker? it costs just as much, and it's a great guitar for that genre.
depends on pick up's, and scatches. probally any were from 450 to 1000
It wasn't invented in any year. It has evolved for centuries. Les Paul is a pioneer in the development of the solid-body electric guitar which "made the sound of rock and roll possible." "Guitar-shaped instruments appear in stone bas-relief sculptures of the Hittites in northern Syria and Asia Minor from as far back as 1350 B.C. The word "guitar" also has origins in the Middle and Far East, deriving from "guit," the Arabic word for four and "tar," the Sanskrit word for string."
