24 X 16 X what? Volume requires 3 dimensions. As is, you have 384 square feet. If your pool is 1 foot deep, then you will have 384 cubic feet or about 2872 gallons. If you have a slope, just figure the average depth and multiply out. 1 cubic foot = 7.48051945 US gallons

Each cubic foot of water is 7.48 gallons. so a 12' x 24' x 3' pool would hold 6,462 gallons assuming the pool is rectangular and 3' deep.
