= thevolume of a cylinder where V is Volume we are working in inches so volume is in cubic inches pi = 3.14159265 R is the radius in this case it would be 1/2" or .5" h is the height (3.14159265)(.5times.5)(12)(3.14159265)(.25)(12) 9.42477795 cubic inches 1 cubic inch equals 0.00432900302529817 us gallons so the answer is 0.040799892258313486 us gallons

Volume of a cylinder = (area of the round end) x (length) = (pi) R2 L

R = radius = 1/2 the diameter = 0.75 inch

Length = 12 inches

Volume = (pi) (0.75)2 (12) = 21.206 cubic inches = 0.0918 gallon = 11.75 fluid ounces (rounded)
