Through safe diet and exercise, it is alright to lose up to 3 or 4 pounds a week. Any more than that can be a nit dangerous unless you are under the watch of a personal trainer, medical professional, and / or a nutritionist.

yes three is perfectly fine but keep in mind a person can't lose more than 2 lbs of just fat in one week you'll be losing some muscle too, which won't kill you but it's not what you want
