I was quoted $2k for parts and labor at one place... just bought the gasket kit for about $180 and I'm going to attempt to do it myself. Probably gonna need an engine hoist for about $150 at Harbor Freight and however much for a shop to machine the heads themselves to smooth them out again, but it'll be WAY cheaper than 2000.
