I had this done about a year ago on my 94 GT SL. You also need to have water pump done at the same time. Should cost around $1500 and after 75000 miles really needs to be done. It that belt goes your motor is history.
timing belt , no spark or fuel pump has quit
if the timing belt does go on gto it would be a miracle if you didn't bend half of the valves ! its whats called an interference motor. if something gets out of time - you get major interference, costs $$$$$
One could expect to pay between $500 and $10,000 for a used mitsubishi 3000gt. The value determined would be based on year and condition of the vehicle.
i have a 1994 Mitsubishi 3000 gt and when the temperature hand starts to go up the car dies what would cause this to happen
its in the midle of the head under the powerstering pump you have to remove the timing covers if you are going to change it i would recomend the you changethe the timing chain
Generally speaking, timing belts should be serviced at 90,000 miles.
with parts and labor I would guess somewhere aroun 100 to 150
i have a 2004 Mitsubishi endeavor . i was wondering how often you would sugest replacing the timing belt .
Without the proper equipment you cannot replace the timing belt on your Mitsubishi Triton. The best place to have this work performed would be your local Mitsubishi dealer or at a trusted car repair business.
With out major modifications the internals will become externals
