if you want just another factory motor dropped in it that would caused $1950-$2300
Begin by removing the middle of your 1992 Mitsubishi Montero steering will. Remove the wiring harness. Remove the steering wheel retaining bolts.
possible bad fuel injector or bad coil.
Without the proper equipment you cannot replace the timing belt on your Mitsubishi Triton. The best place to have this work performed would be your local Mitsubishi dealer or at a trusted car repair business.

Cost a fortune...down in San Diego, Mits dealer gave me a quote of $450.00 to replace spark plugs and wires. Due to the reasoning that plugs and wires are inaccessible. The said price was quoted today...0430PM/04febCALIF
if its the 2.4 liter its the exact same motor so yes, this would be possible
$ 62.00 at Auto Zone.
A loose crank pully retaining bolt will make it leak.
Replace the resister, if that doesn't work replace the blower motor.
i have a 2004 Mitsubishi endeavor . i was wondering how often you would sugest replacing the timing belt .
it would be in the back midright of the motor its hard to describe but its slanted to the right.
umm if it was me i would just replace the motor that gasket is way to expensive to have replaced it costs like (10.00) so i would just replace the motor!!!!!
Although the 93 Dodge Stealth basic engine mechanicals are the same as one for a Montero, you would probably have to use different engine mounts and there may be a problem with how the engine mounts to the transmission. Then theres the possible problem of the engine computer for the Montero not working with the donor engine and the wiring harnesses not having the same plugs as the Stealth.
AnswerCheck the crank pully bolt. If it has come loose you will have a leak. The crank pully bolt does not have anything to do with the crank shaft seal leak. Thebolt is independent of the seal. To replace seal remove crank shaft pully and you will have access to crank shaft seal, pull out & replace seal.
anything is possible if you want it enough. but keep in mind this is alot of money. new drivetrain would be needed, exhaust, transmission most likely, then tuning to go from a stock motor to performance. you'd pretty much need a donor car. not worth it honestly for this kind of car, i thought about it for my own before.
You need the remote keyless entry device. If you don't have one you will probably have to order one from Mitsubishi. This is what they look like (below) although I don't know if it would work for your vehicle if you buy one online, they probably need to be programmed for your VIN number.
The exact cost to replace an electric window motor varies slightly by the model of car. As of 2014, the average cost for this motor is between 35 and 55 dollars.
I would estimate $2,500-3,000
i have a 98 eclipse and am watching my boyfriend replace the heater motor right now. he just had to wriggle around and get it out, he said taking out the glovebox would not make it any easier. there are only 4 screws- 3 in the motor and the 4th is holding a little electronic box that has to come out to get to it. one screw is proving very difficult to get back in- (it was hard to get to get out as well). he is trying to devise a tool/method to get it re-fitted. i hope this helps someone...:>) the motor was about $72 from advance auto. thanks
I would try the window switch first , but if you are going to replace the switch then you will see how to replace the motor. You would have to take the door panel apart after that its easy.
the heater temp control door motor is starting to go out and the clicking is the motor not realizing that it is already fully closed. to replace it you will have to take the lower part of the dash out on the pasenger side. it isn't easy to get at but it can be done.
