depends.... If its a baby it should eat once a day If its a adult it should eat every other day. ANSWER. Feed your dragon every day, Feed them Crickets, and other bugs and also salads. it is important to balance their diet. There is a huge selection of 'leafy' greens which are high in calcium to feed your Dragon, some of which are... kale, argula, collard & mustard greens, parsley, dandelion greens and flowers, endives, radish, carrot and turnip tops, escarole and chicory endive. For more of a variety, mixed into the greens may be many other veggies such as squash, corn, peas, carrots (shredded), sweet potato, cucumber, zucchini, green peppers, chard... also chopped fruit such as cantaloupe, apple, blueberries, peaches, Pears, grapes, plums, raspberries... all chopped finely to avoid choking. The main idea in their diet is variety.**Do not feed your dragons iceberg lettuce as is has very little nutritional value and may give the dragon the 'runs' - prompting dehydration.

Dragons will also munch on other greens. If you take your dragon outside or allow it to roam about the house - please be sure to check that the possible munchies are not poisonous A hatchling should be fed 2-3 times a day as many crickets as he can eat in a 10 minute period. Once 6 months old you can do the same butonly once a day. An adult (12-18 months) should get live feed every other day so they are getting about 60-80 crickets a week. If you are using superworms about 40-50 per week. Every dragon should be given fresh veggies every day. An adult diet should be about 80% veggie/fruit. Be careful what you give though. SOme of the suggestions above should not be a part of a staple in the diet but can be given occasionally. Please read www.beautifuldragons.com and click on nutrition for a full list of foods that are good and bad for them. Always dust your live feeders with calcium powder once a day 5-6 days a week and vitamin once a week. An adult dragon can have calcium 3 times a week. A female who is pregnant or is producing eggs should get calcium every day.

Every day offer it fresh cut vegetables. Depending on age, offer supplemented insects accordingly A baby should be fed alot, 2-3 times a day, they will eat anywhere between 30-60 correctly sized crickets. crickets should be gut-loaded and dusted with vitimin and calcium powder. I personally give my baby dragon a bowl of fresh veg every day, but he seldom touches it. As an adult i am told that he will have an 80% vegetarain diet which will be supplemented with feeder insects every other day.

my bearded dragons are on a diet of adult beardie food (Exo Terra feast for adults) as well as calcium dusted veg and locusts. i feed mine the bearded dragon food and vegetables (dusted lightly with a calcium supplement) every other day, and locust on the other days. This diet that i have mentioned would be perfect for an adult dragon and may not be entirety suitable for juveniles (babies)

Hello,

I went to a reptile specialist for this question and he told me...

Young beardies should be fed with 10 crickets 2 times daily or how many they can eat within 10-15 minuets and the size of cricket/Hopper should be the space between their eyes as they get older the number of crickets should go down and become 9,8,7,6,5,4 when your beardie is fully grown it should be fed 4 crickets 1 time every 2 days remember there should always be fresh vege available. good luck

The little guy should be fed mainly crickets 3-4 times a day.

You should keep feeding it crickets until it gets so full, it refuses to eat anymore.

Tiny bits of veg should be offered too. If he/she is hungry, they can eat 50-100 crickets a day.

(Make sure any food is smaller than the gap between its eyes otherwise it could be fatal or paralyse them)
