It depends on how old the Leopard Gecko is... Say it was born as a baby maybe about 1 or 2 small crickets every day.
When older start putting more in there... Like 3 or 4 so on and so fourth...
And if you buy a whole bunch Of food (Crickets) It is only natural for them to die..
What I have found out in my experience, Crickets stay alive longer if u put a Hardly Damp Cotton Ball Where u keep your Crickets. And I HIGHLY recommend you don't keep The Crickets in the bag when you buy them at a Local Pet Store..
This depends on the type of food you are feeding your gecko. Small feed, such as crickets and mealworms, can be fed to your gecko every other day. Once a week you should coat the crickets with a vitamin such as Fluker's Repti-vitamin to ensure proper nutrition intake. Larger items such as "pinkies" will sustain your gecko for a week or so. My daughter has two Leopard Geckos which I give 18 or so crickets every other day before I turn off the light.
An adult leopard gecko should be fed 3-4 times weekly, eating approx 5 appropriately sized feeders. Babies should be fed daily 2-3 appropriately sized feeders.
Every couple of days up to once a week - depending (a) on the size of the lizard and (b) the size of the lice-food you're feeding it.
as an infant- every other day. as a child/adult- every day. as and adult/elder- every other day
I have personally had a leopard gecko and he preferred feeding in the morning to be honest.
Leopard geckos are a nocturnal species of gecko In the wild they feed at night, so it is best to feed them at night when they are awake.
Yes you should feed your Leopard Gecko wax worms if hes getting to skinny. However, you shouldn't always feed it as his main food. They can get obeyed and be addicted to wax worms. This is bad. So, only feed your Leopard Gecko 3 times a day, in the morning, in the evening, and in the night. If your Leopard Gecko refuses to eat it store the wax worm back into its container.
I feed mine every other day. (All 15 of them :P)
I would feed every other day; that's what I do for my leopard gecko. Make sure you provide a varied diet with crickets, mealworms, and a waxworms once or twice a week. Good Luck! ~Leopard Gecko Fan~
none- they are carnivores and do not eat fruit
Yes if you don't feed it. Or if you don't, then they will most likely starve.
Pinky mice and day old chicks.
YOU CANT DO THAT your a terrible pet owner if you do
If it is a young leopard gecko you should feed it about 2-3 small crickets every day. If it is an adult you should feed it about 3-4 large crickets every other day.
no absolutely not! If your leopard gecko needs a companion try another leopard gecko (you can not pair male leopard geckos with other male leopard gecko)
Leopard geckos are meat-eaters. NO FRUIT. Its best to feed your gecko insects like crickets : )
leopard gecko
Either feed him, take him out and play with him, or ask him some questions about insurance.
