How often do you need to change the some alarm battery?
It should be done once a month
If your Battery is low the alarm will go off. You can also pull the Neg. battery cable to reset. BUT have someone standing by the drivers door with the key in the door lock. It must be turned once the reconnection is made. This will reset the alarm. If that doesn't work you will need to look for broken or loose wires with a wire diagram of the alarm system.

What if the alarm on your 1995 Grand Cherokee keeps going off for no apparent reason what could be some causes to look for?
Answer I found that you need to check all of the door sensors to make sure they aren't sending incorrect messages that the door is being opened after the alarm is set. From what i have found this has to do with the battery. If the battery is low the Alarm will start to go off what appears at random.
You took the battery cables off the battery of your 95 Tracker and set off the Anti theft alarm and now it won't start?
you need to disconnect the horn first, change your battery, start the engine, let idle for a minute, turn off car, reconnect horn, start car again. If car does not start and alarm resounds, try starting the car while flicking the kill switch back and forth it should catch and restart. I just went through this myself.
It is very easy to change the battery in a 2004 Ford Escape. You will need to remove the bar that is covering the battery first. Then you will just need to take the battery terminals off the battery and then remove the old battery. Put the new battery in and put the terminals back on in the correct order. Then put the bar back over the battery and it is ready to go.
When I activate my car alarm, then return to deactivate it the alarm deactivates the door unlocks but when I open the door the alarm goes off and does not go off when I use the remote. Ater about 3 to 4 minutes of trying it finally goes off and I can then start my car. Is the batter need replacing in the remote or a fuse needs change? Does the alarm need servicing?
Don`t buy another Honda! While I agree largely with the above statement, especially since it shouldn't be such an ordeal to change out a battery the simple answer is as follows. While connecting the battery as in my case have an assistant manually or remotely lock and unlock the door a few times. That should silence the alarm. Next you'll need to get the radio and navi codes from your dealer to reset the radio…
