you should groom your horse everyday especially on the parts where the tack goes. sponge down after long rided and on sunny days when it's hot so your horse can dry off. pick out hooves 2 times a day
Horses can get by without any grooming at all. However, it is good to at least look the horse over every day to check for injuries and such. You should also groom a horse, at least the saddle area, before you ride. To get the horse's coat to look shinier and better, daily grooming-complete grooming with a curry comb, stiff brush, soft brush, etc. will do the trick. Bathing your horse should not be done too often, especially if your horse lives outdoors because bathing a horse removes the natural oils from the horses coat that he needs to protect himself from the elements.
You should brush your horse every day, mainly just to check over him thoroughly and make sure he doesn't have any bumps cuts and bruises that may need tending to. You shouldn't bathe your horse very often. They need the oils in their skin. I actually never wash my horses, as they live outside all the time and need their natural skin oils even more so than stall kept horses.
Before and after exercise or whenever it needs it (when you can see the shedded hair falling out from under the saddle, when you can't see an inch of the horse that isn't covered in mud, kapeesh?)
HORSES NEED EVERYDAY CARE!!! Every day, when after somebody takes the horse out, they need to clean the horse of bad sweat under the padding, and remove any dust that might of gatten on the horse, or else it will develop skin problems in the future.
For my horses three times a week is plenty.
The hoof pick needs to be used every day and after rides. The soft brush also needs to be used every day. Never ride without removing dirt from a horses fur.
I've never heard of anyone brushing horses teeth. You do need to have their teeth checked annually and floated (filed down) every 2-5 years.
I think what you mean is mucking out your horses stall :) This should be really obvious - would you like to live and sleep in your waste? You should do this often, to maintain hygiene and keep your horse clean.
It depends on how often you clean the tank. you dont need a sucker fish if you clean your tank alot. If you dont clean your tank that often then get one. you should talk to your local pet store for more information.
i would clean it every week as not cleaning it out often may cause infections.
Every day, maybe more. Because they need to muck out their stalls / stable and then if they are riding in an arena, they have to clean up the poop there and so on. Also after they have mucked out, they might have to do it again in the same day because the horse pooped again. However if they live in the field then they still need to pick it up everyday, as it could attract flies and other insects, which is bad.
It depends where you ride. If you are having lessons at your house then yes you will probably need your own horse. But if you are going to a riding centre then usually you will not need a horse of your own.
every day in real life and on howrse HOWRSE ANSWER:every day JustinMorgan from howrse
Everyday after a ride.
If the horse is kept stabled overnight then you will need to muck out at least once per day, usually in the morning after the horse is turned out. If however he is kept stabled throughout most of the day and night, you will need to clean him out more often - usually skip out muck through the day with gloves and a bucket.
You should clean the pasture every day. If you don't, people will step in horse "stuff".
You have to clean your horse's stall every morning so the dung doesn't stay there to breed diseases
you should really clean your horses stall from 3-6 days of the week.
to keep them warm and/or clean
A boxed horse must be cleaned out daily.
Daily!! if more! they need to drink a LOT of water, especially if you ride them lots during horse days. try to give them more than a bucket or so a day. have fresh clean water available
If the horse is in the stall frequently, then clean it frequently. Every day!
At least once a week.
A horse is a great responsibility, you need to keep a horse fed, a clean hopefully dry place to keep them. They need to have medical checkups, and they need exersize, and most of all they need love.
