hi, i have a syrian hamster of my own and have researched that you can not eed a syrian hamster: Chocolate= (unless animal hamster chocolate, sweets, crisps, biscuits nuts, (unless hamster food ) etc u can however feed it : fresh fruit - but not too much as this can make it ill =(if giving it banana - cut it up into small pieces to make it easier to transport in its mouth. hamster museli or just normal hamster food from places such as pets at home....
If your hamster has all its fur, teeth, and can walk properly than your ready to feed it.But feed it little.
I buy my hamster some hamster food at Wal-Mart and it isn't expensive. If you don't want to do that, I also feed my hamster Special K. He LOVES it! You should get the kind with the yogurt clusters. Hamsters love that! Hope this helped! :) ~Ashley
Give her a quiet , warm place for nesting annd preparing for birth and feed her fresh fruits and vegies but only a little at a time my hamster loves brocolli, carrots, cuecumber, apples, and grapes but make sure to slice anything up to hammy bite size and always provide fresh water !!! good luck with the babies = )
Syrians eat a well-balanced diet of seed mix from your local pet store, but only this won't satisfy your hamster. You should also feed him/her some small cut up fruits (once a week) and veggies (every second day). Here are some for example: Apple, grapes, carrots, and so on. Make sure you don't feed them too many though, because this can cause Wet Tail, which is caused from Diarreah, and that won't be a pretty sight for your hamster. Do NOT feed him/her citrus fruits, apple seeds, celery, chocolate, salted peanuts, raw potato, and things you think would not be appropriate for a hamster's diet. Good luck with your hamster =) . WARNING: Hamsters cannot eat EVERY fruit/vegetable. Check with a pet store employee or your hamster's vet to know which are fine.
You should not feed your Syrian hamster more than ten grams of food a day. Be sure to remove old food from the cage every night.
It depends on the type of hamster and also the size of the carrot, but a typical syrian should eat just one.
YES . my syrian loves them. except i' m not sure dwarfs or robos should have strawberries.

With a Syrian hamster you refill its food bowl and water bottle every morning. In other words once a day.

you can buy specialist food online or mashed carrots
Pumpkin, watermelon, sunflower and others but make sure not to give too much of these as they are very high in fat and your hamster should only get these as a treat not as it's primary food source.
After your hamster has babies the mother will care for them. The puppies will have no fur and are very small. If a baby strays from the nest the mother will carry it back in her mouth. The mother will feed the hamster from her milk until three weeks. At 5 weeks the puppies arte ready to leave the mother. If the hamster is a syrian this is the age when it must be separtated from its brothers and sisters.
haven't u seen those treats that r bananas yes u can feed a hamster dried banana

you should get all three because i have all three :D but if you really just want one, you should get a hamster or a tortoise. a hamster if you want something cuddly and easy to take care of. a tortoise if you forget to feed your pets often. :D
