well it really depends on alot of things but i have a rat snake too. when they r little, u feed them "pinkies" or small mice. and as they get older you move to "fuzzies", "weened", and "full grown". you should probably feed them frozen because sometimes the live ones fight back and hurt the snake.

during the winter, feed it once every two weeks and any other season, once a week.

It depends on the species of snake and it's size ! For example... a young corn snake will feed every 3-4 days but an adult of the same species will happily go 2-3 weeks between meals !

A baby Burmese Python will feed every week - but an adult can go months or even years between feeds !

It depends on what type of mouse you fed it. I normally wait 2-3 days after the lump in the snake is gone. But 1-2 times a week is good and will give you a healthy snake.
