Best Answer

Depends on how old they were when they started school. Usually about 20 or 21 There is no specific age to how old a student is when they graduate from a college or university. The traditional student is referred to as an age range between 18 years old and 25 years old upon entry to the institution. The non-traditional student is usually referred to as an age range that is over 25 years old. In other words an individual can be almost any age when they graduate. A few years ago, we had an individual who graduated at an age close to 90 years old. It is not uncommon to see some graduating college in their 70s. Many individuals either start or return to college because of work demands, to be re-tooled, or to enhance already existing skills. So, it is just a mixed bag. With the amount of adults returning to education, it should tell you one thing. "Education is important!" Viper1
