They CAN breed at 4 to 5 months BUT it is not recommended. Rabbits should be at least 6 months of age and should have reached mature body weight before breeding. If you breed a buck too young you could stunt his growth (not good.)

Rabbits will begin breeding by six months of age, but can get pregnant or get another bun pregnant at as little as three months old. It is unsafe for rabbits to have bunnies this early. It is recommended to not breed rabbits before they reach six months old upon which time you can be sure they are fully developed.

You should not breed a female before she is 6-7 months old because she may not be able to deliver the kits correctly if she is too young. Males become sexually mature at 5- 6 months of age.

they usually have to be 3 months old as one of mine are 3 and a half months old and she is pregnant and the male is 4 months so the male has to be 3 months or over. You should NEVER breed a rabbit until it is 6 months old or has reached mature weight. To breed before is to risk stunting your rabbits growth and your do dieing during kindleing.
