Use of an air or gas-operated guns by a minor under the age of 16 is prohibited unless the minor is under the supervision and in the presence of an adult who is acting with the consent of the minor's parent. I would take that to mean that so long as you are 16 or older you can own and use an air gun in Florida. If you are younger then 16 your parent would need to purchase it for you and supervise your use of the air gun.
