Canada has been a country for 147 years. The first attempt at colonization occurred in 1000 A.D. by the Norsemen. There was no further European exploration until 1497 A.D. when the Italian sailor John Cabot came along. It then started being inhabited by more Europeans. Canada was finally established as a country in 1867.

A 16-year-old can move out of their parents house in Canada. I'm 16 and I'm living with my boyfriend with no troubles at all. I have talked too the Police, Children's Aid and even a Judge. So, yes, you can move out of your parents house at 16 years old.
my thought on age to move out . i have a friend in is being force to live in BC because of his mom, hes tryint to find the answer to this question as well, from what i last heard it is 16 to be able to move out on your own, or with a family member, with a proper signed papers

In Ontario, it is 16 years. Other provinces can be different as I know Alberta is. I am not sure, but, I think Alberta's is 14.
