Must be 30 years old, though we have had Senators elected at 29, but turned 30 at the swearing ceremony. But the US Constitution clearly states the age of 30.

(No- to assume office one has to be thirty. Rush Holt (D., W.V) was elected at 29, and had to wait six months to take office.)
