Dr. Martin Cooper was born as the son of Mary and Arthur Cooper during "The Great Depression in Chicago, Illinois on December 26th, 1928. He has a total of 8 siblings. He is credited for the invention and thought of the first cell phone although there was already a similar product, it was like a radio that police, ambulance and any important emergency businesses had it, it was like a CB radio that truck drivers currently use. Some take it as a misconception that he thought of it, the whole CB radio idea was thought of by a company called, "Bell Laboratories, (i am not sure what they did in the laboratory. However, he did think of a portable communication device that you did not have to be important to use, it could be used by anyone (who bought it) and anywhere. Dr. Martin Cooper is now the owner of a successful company called "ArrayCom" he is the CEO; chairman. He is currently 80 years old! Unfortunately, we do not know much about Martin Cooper's childhood.
