The old Irish name Áedgen perhaps meaning 'born of Aed' or 'born of fire'.

In a later spelling Aoidhghean [ee-an]. Another name of similar meaning and formation is Áedgna.

tine laistigh (literal translation, a fire inside).

If you mean as 'a fire in the belly'

a better translation might be

Lasair Laistigh (as in Lasair dhóchais, fire of zeal/hope)

Loinne Laistigh (fierceness/vehemence: Loinne na hóige, the fire of youth)

Faghairt Laistigh (fire, fervour; spirit, mettle)
