How tall are f1 drivers?
Tall as anyone else but a bit shorter
As per the FIA regulations, every F1 car must have a certain minimum/maximum weight and this weight is inclusive of the drivers weight. In case of drivers who are tall and well built, the teams may have to adjust the cars features to make sure that the net weight of the car does not exceed the prescribed limits. Hence it is very important to weigh the F1 drivers.
Mendel used all tall plants in his F1 experiment because that was the offspring from his cross of a pure tall plant and a pure short plant. By crossing two of the tall plants from F1, he proved that the recessive gene (t) was still present in the F1 generation, despite the phenotypes of all of these plants being tall. (The result of the F1 cross gave 3 tall plants and 1 short plant.)
The phenotypes present in the F1 generation depend on the phenotypes of the parental generation (and the environment). The F1 generation will display the dominant trait(s). For example, if T is tall and t is short, in the cross TT X tt the F1 generation will have the phenotype corresponding to the T allele (tall).
A Total of 19 drivers from England have won Formula One races. The total number of wins by Englishmen in F1 are: 213. They also hold the record for the most number of wins by drivers of a single nation. There are a total of 14 Englishmen who have won the F1 drivers world championship. Again this is the record for most number of titles for drivers of a single nation.
What trait or traits did the plants in the F1 generation exhibit when you think of the traits of the parent plants why is this surprising?
The BMW Sauber F1 team this year has 3 drivers. Robert Kubica of Poland and Nick Heidfeld of Germany are its two race drivers. Also they have Austrian Christian Klein as their test driver. Kubica and Heidfeld have been a part of the BMW team since 2006. Sebastian Vettel was also one among the test drivers for the BMW sauber team in the past.
