George Burns (January 20, 1896 - March 9, 1996), born Nathan Birnbaum, died at the age of 100yrs and 49days due to a heart attack at his Beverly Hills home. In 1976 he would hva been 80 years old. In 1976 he published his book, Living it up: Or, They Still Love Me in Altoona!. He also started production of the movie, Oh, God!, and had just finished the movie, The Sunshine Boys, and short subject, The Lion Roars Again.
