The fact that Elizabeth I was a HUGE patron of Shakespeare's work made a huge influence on his works. Also Shakespeare makes many mentions to the fact that Elizabeth is a women yet SO powerful despite the repression towards women as a whole. Shakespeare also may have mentioned her power so much because again she was a huge patron of his works (which may have put a slight amount of pressure on him as well :)

i think that he actually through his plays questioned people'life styles....for example through twelfth night .....the greedy are taskd to check on their life stye,those in authority are cautioned on the way they treat others and should be cautious about their sourrouding and should always take advise from their subjects no matter their social status like Feste who was consisdered a fool..
