A long stem rose would generally be 70cm or more. If you are ordering a flower arrangement and want long stem, be sure to tell them that you were wanting stems at least this long. You might have to pay more depending on where you are sending them or ordering them, but if the height is that important to you, you won't mind. Also, if you just want the height and still want long stem, don't ask for the stem length, but instead opt for tall branches (or blooming branches if they are available) and roses with a collar of lemon leaf, rather than all of the leather fern and filler. Your arrangement will make a bigger statement and also have a contemporary feel.
