You have to take it to a mechanic i guess since it doesn't have a dipstick.
To check the transmission fluid on a Daewoo Lanos 2000 you have to get to the back side of the engine from underneath. The way we did it was to put the car on a lift.
i have a daewoo and it doesnt have a dip stick u have to take it to the dealer in order for them to check it
If the transmission is electronically controlled - Dexron III, and if manually controlled - Dexron II. If there is no 'dip stick' for testing the fluid level, then the transmission is probably electronic control.
Apparrently there is no transmission dip stick, so my best advice is have the filter and fluid changed(taking the filter access pan doesn't change all the fluid) every two or three yrs or have the fluid change done which puts all new fluid in but doesn't change the filter

To check the transmission fluid on a Nubira that doesn't have a dip stick 1. crawl under the car on the passenger side 2. find where the axle enters the transmission 3. remove the plug just to the front(opposite firewall) of the axle and on the transmission. The plug is the fill level, if no fluid drains from the plug, fill until it does, if any fluid spills out you are at the safe operating level. My recommendation is to check all of the fluids, after you know that are at normal operating levels sell the car.
Actually there are 2 different transmission fluids Dexron II and Dexron III. If your transmission is electronically controlled, use dexron III (your owners manual will tell you all this!), if it is manually controlled, use dexron II. How to determine if your transmission is electronically controlled! If you can't find a transmission dipstick any where in the Nubira engine chamber, then it'll be electronically controlled. From various sources I have found that, to check the fluid level in this case, you need to remove the speedo cable. nubira a/t model zf 4hp 16 use esso fluid.
If you didn't use dexron III transmission fluid, this may indicate the reason for the flashing light. Another reason is either too much or too little fluid. My best advice is to take the car to a transmission specialist. Really, changing the transmission fluid in a Daewoo is not something that should be attempted by anyone but a specialist.
unscrew the cap that has the breather hose coming out of it on the transmission and but your finger in it and if you can feel the fluid its full
