usually you find most of the zones of earthquakes and volcanoes at a plate boundary.

yes you can find volcanoes in north America
there are only 2
most likley volcanoes and somtimes even earthquakes
Earthquakes do not exactly erupt. Earthquakes are caused by the movement the Earth's tectonic plates. Yes, Earthquakes can contribute to the eruptions of Volcanoes because when one plate goes under the other water could be taken with it down into the Mantle. The water and sometimes air when is in the mantle is forced to find an exit and those exits are Volcanoes. When they go into the Volcano pressure builds up and the Volcano erupts. So really Earthquakes are caused by the movement of the Earths tectonic plates while Volcanoes are caused by a build up of pressure in the Earths Mantle.
Underground Earthquakes occur along fault lines. Volcanoes are all over the world but a good place to find one is in the Ring of Fire.
the hawaiian islands (e.g. kilauea volcano and mauna loa) for volcanoes, and japan for earthquakes.pretty much just ramble about the pacific ring of firecause 90% of volcanoes and earthquakes happen on this plategoogle it and you will find the answer you seek..... ;)xoxox Loren and Emily
almost anywhere, anywhere where theres mountain or hills ect. i live in the UK in worcetershire, malvern, and we have loads of hills that used to be volcanoes, but they have closed up and are well dead really, and ive been up their many times. sometimes you will find volcanoes wherever there are earthquakes not always though, this is because earthquakes are on plate boundrys, and you usually get earthquakes with volcanoes, like mt st helens for example, a 5.1 on the Richter scale earthquake was what started off that volcano. so yes almost everywhere.
To the north dirction of it
