First of all...auto or manual? Also, why was the question asked as if overdrive is it's own gear? Check your fuses first, but with lack of detail there is no definite answer at this time.

Overdrive should be ran by electrical ,so check your fuses . If that's not it check wiring that runs to transmission.You will have to get under the vehicle . There is an electrical switch that shifts the trans into overdrive , that is your next step .
