Try hairspray. Spray it on the stain. Rub the hairspray in. This may take a while and this might take a few applications of hairspray. Remember, the stain should be soaked with hairspray. If the stain has been there fore a while, there is a chance it will not come out.

I had this same problem! I did my research and everyone was talking about dry cleaning detergent, but honestly who has that in an easy to reach place! After reading a little more, I found that the dry cleaning powder lifts oil and I thought, WOW! THAT'S WHAT DISH SOAP DOES! So.... I used dish soap and it worked like a charm! Just follow these few steps and the mascara will come out in a breeze!

1.) Grab the dish soap and two paper towels (Either rip a large one in half or use the half sheets).

2.) Pump some dish soap onto the mascara.

3.) Get one of the paper towels wet and then squeeze out all of the excess water.

4.) Wipe off the excess soap and try to wipe off the mascara (If none of the mascara comes off at first don't be upset, it takes a little effort to get it off).

5.) Get the other paper towel and repeat step 3.

6.) Scrub the area with the paper towel.

7.) Put more soap on the mascara if it didn't come out already.

8.) Switch back to the paper towel that has the soap on it and then repeat steps 4 through 7 until it is all gone.

After it is out, I would suggests soaking it in water with a little Borax in it overnight. Borax is inexpensive and works like a charm!

Mascara is pretty hard to get out of anything but you could try oxy clean. That usually works for a lot of my stains. You could also try bleach if it's white. I got mascara stuck in my hair once and used make up remover so that could be an option. But I would deffently try oxy clean, that should work. Good Luck!
