How to install a flasher in a 1996 Plymouth voyager van?

remove the 2 plastic screws on the panel under the dash. the screws only turn a 1/4 turn to the left/ You will find a a panel with small fuses in it. The flasher unit is just above the fuse panel. This is not your regular flasher unit. Chrysler corp needed to make more parts money so in 95 the combined the turn signal and the flasher unit into one relay. It is in the $120 range at the dealer and around $95 at the discount auto parts stores. when you pull out the relay, you will find it has about 8 pins. unfortunately, the whole removal and replacement takes 15 min. Finding a replacement part is the hard part. Good luck Chris L.

the turn signal flasher is a part of the hazard lights as well. It is under the steering wheel and is the largest flasher in the cluster. You do not need to remove any other parts, plates etc to get to this it sticks out about three inches.

You need to look on your transmission there should be 2 of them I have A 96 PLYMOUTH VOYAGER 3.0 liter and it has 2 on the transmission on it just match up ur sensors not very hard. sorry best i can do.

The fuse box diagram for a 1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager is on the inside fuse box cover. It is also found in the owners manual of the car.

remove the 2 0 clamps... then pull the old hose off and replace with new and install the 2 clamps
