Pull the 6 Phillips head screws out of the sparkplug cover on the valve cover. Pull the wire off of the coil starting with the one on the passenger side of the car(#1), this will be the longest wire and will connect to the coil on the far right side of the valve cover(#4)If you are changing the spark plugs, pull the 2 10mm screws out that hold the coil to the cyl.head, just be careful when tightening these back up because if they are too tight you could crack the coilpack. The #2 and #3 plugs are done the same way
Give the spark plug boot a twist to free it from the spark plug then pull it off of the spark plug by the boot.
Pull on the boot.
You simply pull and twist with force till it comes off. Do not worry about damaging it if you pull straight out.

The 1988 Chevy Cavalier spark plug wires are quite easy to remove. The spark plug wires simply pull off on each end. Put the new spark light wires on by pushing downward on each end.
follow your plug wires from your distributor,just remember dont pull on the wires to disengage them,pull on the base[CLOSEST TO THE PLUG].
Pull the spark plug wires off the spark plugs. Remove the spark plugs with a spark plug socket. Install the new spark plugs and put the spark plug wires back on. I recomend replacing the spark plug wires as well. If replacing them, just remember that the new wires are hooked up the same ways that the old ones came off.

To change the spark plug wires on a 97 Buick LeSabre, first pull the wires loose from the plugs. After these are removed, pull the wires loose from the opposite end and replace them.
right on top of the motor. pull the spark plug wires out and use a 18 mm spark plug socket .and there ya go
Twist boot then pull, this will break the seal from the plug.
Pull them out and replace them one at a time.

The Escape uses Coil Over Plug technology. There is a coil for each cylinder, thus eliminating the need for spark plug wires. To access the spark plug, you need to remove the 2 bolts on the coil and pull it out.
The 2.4 Liter Mitsu engine is a hemi--the spark plugs are located in the center of the valve cover. If you pull one of the spark plug wires up and out, you will see that it has about a 5 inch extension that goes down to the plug. Then you can put a spark plug socket on a long extension and stick it down into the hole and remove the plug. It also has 2 "coils" that are in line on the wires, so it costs about $200 to replace the wires.

REMOVAL Remove spark plug wires from spark plugs with a Spark Plug Wire Remover tool, pull outward on the boot with a slight side-to-side twist. Loosen spark plugs and remove any dirt or foreign material from spark plug areas of cylinder head with compressed air. Remove spark plugs. INSTALLATION Inspect and adjust spark plugs. Spark Plug Gap: 0.042" to 0.046". Install spark plugs. Tighten spark plugs to 9-20 N.m (7-15 lb in). Connect spark plug wires to spark plugs.
You can go to the dealer or to an auto parts store to buy new spark plug wires. When you get them open the box and lay the plug wires side by side on the work bench,you will see that there are 4 wires and each one is slightly longer than the other. Now looking at the engine, you will see that there are 4 plug wires on the top of the cylinder head, starting with the plug wire on the far left, gently pull the plug boot ( do not pull on the wire ) free of the spark plug hole, then follow the wire to the plastic connector, this is round and cylindrical in shape,on the right side of the connector you will see a lever, push the lever in, and pull connector apart, then taking the longest new wire, push the connector together until it " clicks ", then press the spark plug boot down firmly until it is in place,compare the new one you just replaced to the other old 3 ones and see how far down it should be. Then continuing from the left to the right, replace the remaining spark plug wires. ( note ! ) Only remove 1 spark plug wire at a time.
If you mean that the wire came out of the boot, then pull the boot off of the spark plug and use a spark plug socket to remove the spark plug.
they are dropped down inside the valve cover. pull the plug wires and use a plug socket and extension to reach them.
