When someone asks you out they usually set a date (say Saturday night) and a time they will pick you up or where you should meet him. If he hasn't done this then I wouldn't call it a date. Marcy If he shows up on time to pick you up.

∙ 16y agoIf you think he's trying to ask you out, he probably is. People are excellent at reading other peoples emotional state so trust your judgement.
Asking someone out is a big thing to do - its an emotional risk because there is a high possibility of rejection. And rejection hurts like nothing else.
If he's a bit shy, you can help by showing him that you are ready for the big question. Be calm and comfortable around him. Give him attention and build his trust. Make it clear that you like being with him.

∙ 14y agoHe'll probably be very awkward and shy when he is around you. If he has not asked you and you think he will then this is an obvious reason. He could be afraid pf being rejected. If he keeps going to ask you something and he can't seem to get it out: that is another pointer towards him wanting to ask you out.
