How to turn on and off the antivirus protection?

To turn on anti-virus protection, if it is installed & not working -->>

1. Start>> Control Panel >> Security Center >> turn on if it is turn off

2. Check for updates

3. Reinstall the anti-virus

Figure out what virus protection program you have installed on your computer. If you do not have one, you need to get one. Search for it, then open the program. Under 'Options' there should be a place where you can enable or disable virus protection

Virus protection is turned on by default .But if it is not turned on then you can right click on the icon on the right hand side of the screen next to the time and then click enable.
