How was the earth created?

Earth was created by the big bang that made the tiny grains of matter stick to each other by static electricity. Then those grains grew to half a mile, then it had enough gravity to attract it's own sand. All of these huge asteroids collided with each other until earth is formed. There is tiny droplets of water in the asteroids, which will explain the world's oceans. There are also amino acids in the asteroids, the building block of life. Also there is cyanobacteria that produces oxygen as a byproduct of sun. So this is how the earth is created. BTW the moon is created by the same process but when a mars size planet collided into earth, causing the process with the moon. PS there are heaver metals in the center of the earth because earth even once melted itself with all the heat and asteroids colliding with it. So the denser materials sunk while the lighter once rose. This also explains why there is almost no iron or nickel on the moon, because that huge planet hit earth at an angle, it is no longer straight.

And it was so. 8 God called the expanse "sky." And there was evening, and there was morning -- the second day. 9 And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear." And it was so. 10 God called the dry ground "land," and the gathered waters he called "seas."

So, the answer is "God said". He spoke it into being.

Although many religions have various explanations of how the earth was created, there is one constant: the facts of science. One fact that is no longer considered in dispute outside religious circles, is that the earth is over 4.5 billion years old. Another fact is that the world was once very different to the world we see today. Continents have formed and mountains raised up by various geological forces. Whole species of plants and animals have evolved and then, in time, become extinct. All this is indisputable, except on the basis of religious belief.

We know that the sun is composed almost entirely of hydrogen, which is slowly being converted, through fusion, into helium. When this process is complete, the sun will begin to cool, as many other stars are observed to have done. However, some very large stars fuse hydrogen into the heavy elements we find on earth; when this process is complete, the star does not just cool down slowly but explodes as a 'supernova', sending heavy elements across space. One such supernova occurred in the vicinity of our sun, which captured some of the material in its gravitational field. This material coalesced into the various planets, dwarf planets and other small bodies that form our solar system.

The earth is one rather insignificant planet that formed in this process, but it is just the right distance from the sun to support life as we know it. The rest is natural history.

With the exception of mankind, we are only told what God made, not how He made it. That fact is in order to stress mankind's importance.

To make man, God fashioned the appropriate shape from dirt and breathed a soul into it (Genesis ch.2). He then made the first woman by fashioning her from a piece of the man's flesh (ibid).

The prevailing scientific theory is that Earth formed about 4.5 billion years ago through a process called accretion, where dust and gas in the early solar system collided and stuck together to form larger bodies, eventually leading to the formation of Earth. This process eventually resulted in the differentiation of Earth's layers and the development of its current geology.
