How was the economy affected after World War 1?

It wasn't really affected because most of the countries that took part in WW1 were in great debts with a total loss of money through out Europe that was over 200 billion pounds. Such as Great Britain had many debts to pay off, where the USA didn't since they entered the war later on,so they didn't loose as much as other countries had. And most countries were just getting used to the flow of not being in total war anymore and focusing on building on their new country or in Russia's case repairing their country. So as factories production went back to producing products for their society and not war benefits, things eventually got back to normal. Of course until WW2.
