Slaves were not fed enough, and did not have warm enough clothing or good shoes.
It was a disaster.

∙ 13y agoChildhood during Colonial times was not what it is today. Children worked, did their lessons and cared for their younger siblings. Girls helped their mothers and boys helped their fathers and everyone went to bed early and got up early to start it all over again.
