people in the Warsaw ghetto got beaten bad and killed by being shot it was a horrible sight for there family's

they wernt allowed to leave and were all cramped into 1 ghetto ... the largest held up to 450,000 jews

Generally they were welcomed, given food, lodgings and work where possible.

The ghetto was to a large degree self regulated.There were no guards or Nazis in the ghettos as a rule, though they did enter at will. They were however exploited by the Nazis from the outside.
