How were things done before a computer was invented?
Bookkeeping was done in a general ledger. All entries were manually written and posted as a debit or a credit. All columns with numbers recorded had to be totalled and must balance at the end of each month.
Talk bout things you have done i.e ice skating if you have done ice skating before or talk about previous things that you have done the day before, or if you are texting at night talk about things you did in the day. If you are funny and make your friends laugh send funny texts to him and make him laugh. Believe me it works i have done it all before
Dan Bricklin, a business student, wanted a way of doing a spreadsheet on a computer instead of on paper, which is how they were done. One change of a number meant completely redoing it on paper. Together with a computer programmer who was a friend of his, Bob Frankston, they invented the first computerised spreadsheet. It was called VisiCalc, invented in 1978 and launched for an Apple computer in 1979.
