How would a saltwater pool work in Southern Mexico where it is hot and sunny all the time?
A salt generator would work great in Southern Mexico but there are three things you want to be aware of to make it work for you. 1-You will need to run the pool at least 14-24 hours a day to keep the proper amount of chlorine in the pool (3-5ppm)run it during daylight hours. 2-You will need to maintian a stablizer level of at least 50-70 ppm with 70 being better. 3-The unit will increase the pH level and about once a week you will have to lower your pH level when you do this you should use muriatic acid or Acid Magic (Acid Magic is safer to handle than muriatic acid). If you follow these steps you should have great success with your salt generator.
What was the negotiated with Mexico so that the US government would pay Mexico for parts of Arizona and New Mexico?
Those would be Guerrero, Oaxaca and Chiapas. See, Mexico is a federal republic composed of many independent states, just like the US. Those three states are what is commonly known in Mexico as "the south" or "the southern states". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guerrero http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oaxaca http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiapas
