Ok, the best way to ask a girl out is to ask her privately. A good way to start would be (in example)"I was wondering if you want to go to ... with me." If she responds yes, you can tell her where you will meet and the time... If this works, let me know
Be less shy, which means, venture outside of your shell, and that is not limited to asking one or two girls out, it is much more of a lifestyle than that.
Plus, those that you ask out probably have seen you around or know you for who you are, and if they see you coming out of your shell, they might come to you instead of you looking for them. Also, they might think that you are doing it just for them, which could also work for you!
