The oldest rocks on the continents would be much older than the rocks on the sea floor because the rocks on the continents are not being removed unlike the rocks on the sea floor that are made by the mid-ocean ridge are being removed by deep ocean trenches. this prossess that is occuring on the sea floor is called sea floor spreading. evidence of this is the Pacific Ocean shrinking and the Atlantic Ocean growing.

Why don't the present shaped of the continents fit perfectly into a super continents?

As the continents moved further apart, natural erosion of the coastlines removed and added to the basic shape over billions of years. Much of the evidence relates to the similarities of plants and animals found on now separate continents. Geological evidence points to Antarctica was once further north and had a tropical climate!

Why does the anchorage behind a breaker have to be dredged?

Because the breakwater disturbs the natural current of the water and flow of silt and debris on the seafloor. A buildup of sand and silt occurs behind the breakwater because of this, and it needs to be removed, lest it get in the way of the boats.

Engline immobilizer indicator light keeps flashing continually when the key is out How do you fix it?

The Engine Immobilizer Indicator Light is supposed to flash continually when your key is removed from the ignition because it is part of the security/alarm system. The engine immobilizer is the " kill switch " that will not allow the engine to be started without your key which has a microchip in the top ( the black part of the key ). When the EII Light is flashing it indicates that that part of the alarm system is active and working. If the light does not blink when key is removed THEN it needs to be fixed.

Why are forest maneged?

In the simplest sense, to make sure that the number of trees removed are compensated for by the number of trees replanted, so the forest is "self-sustaining" - so it will continually produce wood over many years.
