If it was working sometimes but not everytime, your problem is probably a bad switch. I would first pull the switch Or button, whatever you want to call it.Then with a screwdriver Short the switch out to see what it does. To short it out simply place the screwdriver across the two terminal wires <positive and ground> and see if it moves the window. If that is the problem, be sure its not just loose wiring on the switch connections. Most of the time the window motor doesn't go bad, they aren't used constantly like a motor in a toy car or something where the motor is constantly spinning. Electric engines are very simple in design therefore unless it is in use meaning by the way of nonstop rotation, they usually are very dependable. I'd say 95% of the time its the windows switch or mearly the wiring that's attached to it. --------------------DMZ28@bex.net-------

Try putting it up from the drivers controls.See Related LinksSee the Related Link for "window will not release" for the answer.
