well you either need to buy an ethernet cable to run from your xbox 360 into your router/modem. If your router is to far away and you have wireless you can buy a wireless network adapter for around $50 off eBay
If your Router isn't that far from the close then you can just connect it using a Ethernet Cable so it's no needed
I'm pretty sure it's wireless in terms of connecting to your router. The xbox 360 was wireless in later models and so it would be a massive step back if XboxOne had to have cables to connect to the router - so I'm pretty confident it can wirelessly connect :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yes the XBOX ONE gaming console can connect to the internet through wireless, as it has a built in wireless adapter. As Zezima has said: "The xbox 360 was wireless in later models".
I have tried to connect to this same router and so far have found that it is incompatible.I would try to get another router.
As far as your xbox has a wireless adapter and your router is configured properly you should not have any problems.
It probably won't connect for a couple reasons:You're too far from the router, so disconnection is frequent, or it won't connect at all.It is a locked router, therefore you need a password to even begin to connect to it.
as far as i know there is no longer xbox live for the original xbox if you want xbox live you have to get a 360 this is how Microsoft screwed over alot of people
It will be trying to connect to the strongest wireless connection. This is usually from the closest access point.
I can get 125 feet outside of my house and still connect to my 3G enabled router. I got additional range by locating the router upstairs in the house. The router uses a Sprint 3G USB modem that can be removed and used directly in a laptop if you want mobility.
As far as i know, the xbox 360 is not equipped with bluetooth for the keyboard to connect to
There are two ways to connect your laptop to a router, wired and wireless. If your laptop is fairly new, it will likely support both types of connections. The easiest way to connect your laptop is wired. If your router is in the same room as your laptop, or if your router doesn't have wireless functionality, then you should wire it. Just get a standard ethernet cable, with the length depending on how far you have to connect it. However, if you want to be able to walk around your house or even go outside without cables holding you back, set up a wireless connection, if your laptop and router support it. You have to use network connections to connect to an available network, which you will have to set up using software that comes with your router. Once you are connected, you can go anywhere and receive internet as long as you are still in range of your router. Getting a more powerful router will increase your range.
So far, there is no compability between routers from different brands. The answer is rather no, but you can still try.
