You don't. It uses the same oil for lube as the engine. When you change the engine oil, you are changing the supercharger oil. * On the 92 PA ultra, The supercharger is sealed. The oil plug is next to the drive pulley, on the side closest to the firewall. Suck the old oil out with a turkey baster or similar, and refill with a high quality synthetic, or with GM specific Supercharger oil.

I have a '92 PA Ultra. The Ultra has the supercharger. There are two sets of serpentine belts for this configuration.

The Buick Park Avenue line is known for its smooth ride. The suspension is an air ride, giving a soft floating feel.

The size of the engine in a Buick Park Avenue from the year 2000 is a 3.8 litre V6 engine. It is the same in both the "base" model and the "ultra" Model.

User Avatar

It still uses R134a, which is still available.

User Avatar

No, it is an Ultra which means it is a supercharged 3.8L V6 and the 1995 Regal was a non-supercharged only so no. The supercharged models had an HD transmission and the Regal had the "regular verison". the transmission for the ultra was the 4t65e

User Avatar

you CAN remove it and replace it with a regular intake, however the car will run like sh!t. The supercharged engine has a lower compression ratio and withour boost it will not run well. If you want to get rid of the supercharger (why would you) you have to get rid of the entire engine....or to make things much simplier the whole car.

power antenna, you can buy them from gm dealers for about $120

Up behind the glove box (near the right kick panel)

The Buick that was supercharged was called the Ultra. On the engine there is another unit mounted on top of the engine. It is driven by a separate belt from the drive shaft. The engine without the supercharger has only one serpentine belt.

User Avatar

It might be the supercharger going bad. The supercharger has a little coupler that is located in between the supercharger nose and the main body. This coupler is located inside and once it starts to wear out it will start making a clunk sound. You can replace the coupler, replace the nose, or rebuild the whole supercharger. The best way to replace shocks and struts on a 2001 Buick Park Avenue Ultra is to follow the owner's manual instructions. The parts can be purchased at most local auto parts stores such as Auto Zone. Remove the old parts and refer to the manual to install the new parts.
