They're not asking about the situations. They're asking about how YOU handle stress. Use situations that are stressful to anyone (deadlines, not enough staff, computer failures, etc.)
Things they DON'T want to hear:
- You freaked out. - You got everyone around you upset. - You caused more work for your supervisor. - You caused the company to lose money or production time. - You smoked three cigarettes and then ate an entire Pizza.
Things they DO want to hear:
- You remained calm. - You helped others to remain calm. - You contacted the appropriate supervisors. - You came up with a solution and either fixed it or assisted the supervisor. - You went to the gym and worked out for an extra 1/2 hour. - You thought of how this situation could be avoided in the future. - If nothing else it showed you how to best handle the situation in the future.

Try something like: "I try to take criticism constructively, and use it to improve. One example is ..." Think of an example " A manager told me my desk was cluttered. I took an extra five minutes each day to organize the desk."

Be up front and honest when you're doing a job interview. Most people should remain calm and get to the bottom of the mistake to correct it while working.

Job interviews do not give you qualifications. Qualifications are obtained by assessment and examination. This may take the form, in part, of an interview but it would not be a job interview.
I never heard of anyone charging to interview people for job positions.
