How you would use a triple beam balance and a ruler to find the density of the solid a wooden block?

Density (kg/m3) = mass (kg)/Volume (m3)

So to find the density of the wooden block, the triple beam balanced is used to calculate the mass and the metre rule is used to measure the height, length and width of the wooden block. Then the volume is calculated by multiplying the thee distances obtained from the ruler. Finally the density is calculated using the equation: Density (kg/m3) = mass (kg)/Volume (m3)
