This problem can be described by the following:
1) iPod 5th Generation, age of about 6-15 months.
2) Usually starts with heavy static in audio, increasing to nothing but static, fading into silence.
3) It's not the headphones, and it's not the bottom connector.
4) The 5 R's doesn't fix the problem.
5) Starts very suddenly.
6) Seems to be heat related as each morning after cooling off, the Ipod will play audio for about 5 minutes, then start the process all over.
7) Pinching the bottom right corner seems to temporarily fix the problem by fixing the broken solder/connection. Simply contact Apple.
When you speak to a representative, tell them the problem, tell them you've read the forum threads on apple support, refer them to the page if need be, and tell them apple is replacing them and that you just need to speak with a product specialist.
The product specialist is aware of the issue. They will ask you several questions, but will probably offer to replace it. They need your ipod so they can "research the issue further."
My ipod touch just had the same problem. You need to go into Settings and tap general. Scroll down to where it says reset and tap it. Tap reset all settings. It wont delete anything.
which version of the ipod nano?
You need to plug it into the computer and it will automatically unlock
It depends. On video sites, such as YouTube, it does not cost to see or play music videos. However, if you were to want to download music videos onto your iPod or mp3 player, it would cost you so that music video can be at your disposal.
If you have a video on Youtube and you want views, then you have to put a link in your video description which directs to your video. Along with this, you have to promote your video on different websites and on related forums. This will help you in getting a lot of views in a short time.
Bear Share is a free site that allows users to upload music and video files to share with other Bear Share users, and to download music and video files for personal use on a mp3, iPod, or other music player device.
Only ipod touches have out loud speakers. to get them to work, your headphones must be unplugged
First of all, make sure you are using Apple earphones with a Remote and Mic. If you are then I would check the Music and Video settings on your iPod. For music player your iPod should be set to "shuffle" and for video playback you must have the "enable video" option switched on. Make sure the volume is CLEARLY set at 100% and also that you ARE using the earphones with a remote and mic.
The ipod nano without the video and the ipod nano with video.
Some of the enticing qualities of the IPod Nano are that it is just a mini IPod touch. There is a touch screen, and it plays music and video as well.
It plays music.

No - ipod music files are compressed and a lot of detail is lost by this process. You will still get a vastly superior sound from a CD.
