It could also be that you have no gas.
my 98 Lincoln had the same problem and i replaced the battery the car turns over fine now. good luck
turn the key the motor turns over but will not start
There are a few possibilities for the problem. The most likely are the main relay and the engine temp sensor. The main relay is a problem very common to older Honda/Acura models, and the temp sensor is a common cause is general.
it's battery is low... If not then the most likely cause is overheating.
There are a number of things that may cause your car to turns over but not start. This may be due to insufficiency of gas or a problem with the car battery among others. You might need a professional mechanic to resolve the problem.
it is most likely your fuel pump
If its turns over but wont start is probably the fuel pump. It happened to me, and since the fuel pump have benn replaced theres no problem anymore. The only thing is that the start is not that accurate like before but at least it starts.
bad spark module(s),but likely engine control module
its probably a dead battery if u cant start it up after a few minutes
Check Crank sensor located in the block near the ac compressor
if the engine turns over and it is not getting fuel, more than likely fuel filter or fuel pump problems if the car is not getting fuel.
Do a fuel pressure check. I had the same problem and it was my fuel pump.
