Well, if you want your female to be tame, I suggest spending more time with it, or giving it up for adoption at a rescue or shelter that takes birds (DON'T send it to a pound, it will be euthanized within a week or less). If you don't have any time for it, buy another bird to accompany it. Make sure your bird and the new bird are in good health.
Some ways to make sure you are getting a healthy bird:
- Clear eyes
- Beaks are clean
- no injuries
- Active
- Somewhat loud and social (just because they aren't social doesn't mean they are sick)
- Clean, bright feathers
- Healthy, strong feet
- Also, check out if there were any recent recalls in the store. This is most common in pet stores. It's best to get your birds from certified breeders at bird shows.
If you are getting a male budgie friend, ba aware that budgies will mate and produce offspring without a nest present! If it is a female, be aware that same-gender animals may squabble. Good luck!
A female budgie is called a "hen".
You have a female budgie, male budgie's do not lay eggs.
The answer is to avoid doing this. If you put a male budgie and a female budgie together, they will mate.
whatever color you dye them
yes I would say it is possible.
you could take it and hand raise it! :)
she must be sick.
female or still young
Because they are probably a mated pair, and she is in charge.
No. A color of a budgie has nothing to do with the way they play but if you had a boy and a girl budgie, the boy would be more easier to teach and more playful as the female budgie tends to bite a lot harder than the male budgie I have over 20 budgies and I got to say the male budgie gets along with each better than the female budgies who will fight for space Ihope this answers your Question.
It should pose no problems as long as the other bird is a female.
when she is old enough to have her period and has a sheman boygirlfriend
