I have been talking to this guy for four months now and i really want to date him and he feels the same way that i feel about him but he says that he does not want to rush into any relationships now?

Could be that he has recently had a failed relationship and does not feel comfortable at this time getting 'involved' again. Time heals all wounds ... let his wounds heal awhile ... things could change for the better.
