Something is pulling power from the battery. Check lights under hood, brake, trunk, interior, glove box, etc. Can also be a stuck relay.
Immediately disconnect cables but leave car running for at least fifteen minutes
Strat the engine, let run for an few minutes, then while running disconnect the battery. Alternator is good if the engine continues to run. does not wok on Deisel feed enginess
There is a good chance that your alternator has stopped working. It could also be just a loose wire from the alternator to the battery that is not letting the battery charge. Also it could be a bad battery. When a cell in a battery dies it will hold a charge for a short period of time but then rapidly die. Get the battery checked first. they the wires, then the alternator.
to disconnect the battery by 10 minutes
Disconnect the battery for 10 minutes.
Disconnect battery cables from battery for 30 minutes and then reconnect battery it then resets.
Depends on how low the battery is but give it 10-15 minutes and it will be fully charged, assuming the alternator is working properly.
About ten minutes if you've done it before. Not much to it. Disconnect the battery, remove the mounting bolts and wires. Installation is the reverse, except for tensioning the belt.

Disconnect Negative battery cable- remove the accessory drive belt by loosening belt tensioner located on lower right side of engine -remove wiring harness connectors-remove alternator mounting bolts then remove alternator-installation is reverse of removal-takes about 45 minutes.
